Terms of Service.

Last updated · July 2026

These terms apply to work carried out by Blastaway Pressure Washing Services Ltd (trading as Blastaway Pressure Washing Services, referred to here as “we” and “us”) for customers (“you”). They sit alongside any written quote we send you.

2. Quotes

  • Every quote is a free quote. You owe nothing unless you accept a quote and we carry out the work.
  • We reply to enquiries as quickly as we can. It may take longer if the job needs a site visit or we are out working.
  • A quote stays valid for 30 days from the date it is issued.
  • Quotes are based on the information you give us about the job. If the job on the day is materially different from what was described, any change to the price is discussed and agreed with you before work starts, never afterwards.

3. Accepting a quote and booking

  • Accepting a quote in writing (text, email or WhatsApp) forms a contract for the work described in it.
  • Your job date is confirmed in writing.
  • You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the booked date. Cancelling on the day may carry a callout charge to cover travel and preparation.

4. Carrying out the work

  • We arrive within the agreed window, or contact you if we are held up, and we do not start until you have agreed the work on the day.
  • The cleaning method is matched to the surface. Delicate surfaces such as render, K Rend and painted or coated finishes get a low-pressure soft wash rather than high pressure.
  • Where cleaning products are used, we take care around plants, paving and anything else nearby. Please move fragile items out of the work area before we arrive.
  • It is your responsibility to tell us before we start about anything hidden that could affect the job: loose blocks, crumbling render, fragile plants, septic tanks or drainage problems.

5. Payment

  • We take cash and bank transfer. Payment is due when the work is finished, unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing.
  • The written quote states the full amount payable. Nothing is added on the day unless a change to the job is agreed with you first.
  • Invoices left unpaid for more than 14 days may accrue statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Walkaround and aftercare

  • Before payment we walk the finished work with you. Anything you raise at that point is dealt with before we leave.
  • If within seven days of completion you find a defect that is clearly down to our work, contact us and we will put it right free of charge.
  • Results always depend on the surface, its age and condition, and the weather. Some staining cannot be fully removed, and where that is likely we say so at quote stage.

7. Limitation of liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
  • Our total liability for any single claim is capped at the price of the job in question, except where your statutory rights say otherwise.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing defects in your property (loose blocks, failed mortar, fragile render) or for damage those defects cause during normal cleaning.

8. Your rights as a consumer

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. More information is available from Citizens Advice.

9. Disputes

If there is ever a dispute, we try to sort it out informally first. Failing that, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any unresolved dispute is heard by the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version that applies to your job is the one in force on the date you accepted your quote.
